How to become a Captain

There are three different ways to become a Gotei 13 captain

1. To take the captain proficiency test which requires the ability to perform the Bankai (Need 75 Posts to be able to make a Training). Presumably, most Soul Reapers become captains using this method.

2. To have personal recommendations from at least six captains and approval from at least three of the remaining seven.

3. To defeat a captain one-on-one in a Rank Battle.

To become a lieutenant or 3rd seat you need to have a approved character, Zanpakutou (you can have bankai if you reach the post requirement) and also 50 Posts

Requirements: Approved Character, Zanpakutou. If you already got the Rank you've wanted, you must be active and a good Rp'er to maintain your rank.
